NASHVILLE, Tenn.-"Yeshua Jesus," a new Christmas single from acclaimed singer/songwriter Holly Starr, will be available digitally beginning tomorrow. Produced by Chuck Butler and penned by Starr, Butler and David Moffitt, the song has been serviced to Christian radio formats nationwide.

A tribute to Starr's Jewish heritage, "Yeshua Jesus" incorporates the classic Christmas hymn "O Come All Ye Faithful" in a bright, piano-driven original arrangement.

"Because I come from a Jewish family background, the name Yeshua carries a special meaning to me," says Starr of the song's inspiration. "When I am in Israel talking to my relatives about 'Yeshua,' they know exactly Who I'm talking about; equally so when I'm in the States talking about 'Jesus.' I loved the idea of bringing the two names together as "Yeshua Jesus" to show that-despite the name we call Him-He's still the one true God, the same Savior to us all."

Starr's latest full-length recording, Focus, is a noteworthy collection of vibrant pop songs reflecting the acclaimed singer/songwriter's artistic maturity and heart for worship. A Quincy, Washington, native, Starr's Artist Garden Entertainment (Save The City Records/Provident Distribution) recordings also include Embraced (2008) and Tapestry (2010). Known for a loyal online fan base instrumental in launching her career, Starr's 2012 single, "Don't Have Love," has reached almost 600,000 views on YouTube, while her recent single, "Through My Father's Eyes," has been viewed nearly 300,000 times. Both songs were also Christian radio hits this year, reaching Top 25 on Hot AC and Top 30 on AC charts.
